About Me.
Lexi is a Broadcast Host & Assistant Producer for the Minnesota Twins. She finds dynamic and engaging ways to tell stories of players, coaches and the Twins community on and off the field.
Her passion for sports stems from her father, who played professional soccer for the Milwaukee Wave, and her grandfather who played professionally as well, and was apart of the U.S. Olympic Men’s Qualifying Team in 1964. Raised in Wisconsin, she grew up as a huge Green Bay Packers and UW-Madison football fan.
Lexi attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she held internships at WISN 12 News, NBC 15 Madison, ESPN Madison and the Badger Sports Report. She graduated right when the pandemic hit in 2020, and sports were put on pause. Determined to tell stories of a community, she took a news reporting job at WNKY 40 in Bowling Green, KY.
While at WNKY, she developed trusted relationships with high-profile politicians Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell, and covered national breaking news like the devastating tornado in December 2021. But her heart and passion were still in sports. Lexi became the sideline reporter and pregame show host for Western Kentucky University Football and spent 2 seasons as the team reporter, traveling with the team to away games and bowl games. She built relationships with head coach Tyson Helton and his father, former NFL coach Kim Helton, NFL quarterback Bailey Zappe, and worked with former Chicago Bears wide receiver Terry Obee. From there, she expanded her role with the university to the ESPN+ basketball sideline reporter. Lexi also was the sideline reporter for the TSSAA Basketball State Championships in Nashville, TN.
